Digital Health Scientific Manager


The Digital Health Scientific Manager will coordinate the activities related to some digital health research projects run in the Deep Digital Phenotyping Research Unit, ensuring a smooth project execution. He/she will take part in the strategic planning of the research activities and participate in the administration, management, and valorization of the research projects. He/she will provide specific expertise in digital health, diabetes, digital and vocal biomarkers, digital technologies and remote patient monitoring.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the research projects: drafting grant applications, implementation, follow-up, planning related to Colive Voice and vocal biomarkers
  • Coordinate a multidisciplinary team and collaborative external partners
  • Present the work and results to external partners
  • Provide regular updates to Head of DDP research group
  • Coordinate the work of the Digital Communication and Marketing Officer of Colive Voice
  • Support the DDP group leader in the group development and in seeking external funding
  • Write scientific publications and give oral and written presentations at conferences
  • Evaluate research results for patent filing together with BDO and the Director of the Department
  • Participate in the societal dimension: dissemination of simplified research results to the general public (through articles, conferences, social media etc.).
  • Monitor and Report progress
  • Initiate a patent procedure with the BDO, whenever possible.

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Master’s level with +3 years of experience or PhD, in any biomedical field or digital health
  • Interest in digital health/technology/AI
  • Experience in diabetes research is an asset
  • Experience in developing new partnerships and working with external partners in collaborative projects
  • Experienced in scientific project management and grant writing
  • Rigour, motivation, organisation skills, writing skills, conciseness, sense of priority and ability to work with others
  • IT skills: Office, Google Suite, Outlook, project management tools (Trello)
  • Languages skills: fluent command of English (French is an asset), knowledge of another language of the European Union is also an asset.
