Please note that:
Background
The Cytoskeleton and Cancer Progression (CCP) research group, led by Dr. Clément Thomas, investigates how the actin cytoskeleton in tumor cells contributes to resistance against immune attack. Our ultimate goal is to uncover novel therapeutic targets that can enhance the efficacy of anticancer immunotherapies.
A major barrier to effective immunotherapy is tumor immune evasion. We have recently identified a critical role for actin remodeling in tumor cell resistance at the immunological synapse, the dynamic interface between cytotoxic lymphocytes and cancer cells. Our group applies high-resolution live-cell imaging and quantitative microscopy to dissect these mechanisms at the molecular level.
We are offering a 6-month full-time internship for a highly motivated second-year Master’s student (M2) to join our team and contribute to ongoing research projects.
