Background
Within the Luxembourg Institute of Health, the Controlling Team plays an important role in supporting the financial management and monitoring of the Institute’s research activities and projects.
Objectives
As part of a major digital transformation project, LIH is currently preparing the migration of its current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which has been used across the Institute for the past ten years, to another. As part of this project, the intern will have the opportunity to contribute to the migration of historical data from the current ERP to the new one, helping to ensure the accuracy, consistency and completeness of the data transferred to the new system.
Training and Environment
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a major ERP migration project while working in the specific context of a biomedical research institute. Beyond the technical and controlling aspects of the project, the intern will have the opportunity to gain a broad overview of the Institute’s activities and research projects, and to better understand how financial and administrative processes support biomedical research.
The intern will join the Controlling Team, which consists of 7 members of 7 different nationalities, and will be supervised by Mr. Arne Kramer, Controlling Team Leader.
