Help shape cancer research in Luxembourg!
What is the study about?
When someone is diagnosed with cancer, decisions about treatment can be difficult – not just medically, but personally. Patients, family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals may all be involved, and they don’t always see things the same way. Important concerns can get lost in the process. These challenges can become even greater when age brings additional health considerations, and when there is limited research evidence to guide treatment choices for people aged 65 and over.
We want to hear from you about what matters most when these treatment decisions are made. Whether you’ve gone through it yourself, supported someone who has, or work in cancer care; your experience can help shape what future research focuses on. This isn’t about medical outcomes; it is about your experience, your concerns, and what you think needs what you think needs more focus and support.
Taking part means completing a short, anonymous online questionnaire (available in English, French, German, Luxembourgish, and Portuguese). Your answers will help shape a future event, a World Café, where patients, families, and professionals come together to set priorities for future research and explore potential support tools for patients, families, and professionals involved in cancer care in Luxembourg.
