Book lovers support cancer research at LIH

The Luxembourg Institute of Health is pleased to announce a generous donation from the Lëtzebeurger Bicherfrënn – Les Amis du Livre ASBL, amounting to € 10.000, in support of the Department of Cancer Research.
Les Amis du Livre ASBL was founded in 1997 by book enthusiasts, with the aim of promoting, supporting, and preserving literary heritage and books in the broadest sense of the term. Run by volunteers, the association sells second-hand books received as donations. The money raised is dedicated to charitable and cultural causes.
The LIH warmly thanks Les Amis du Livre ASBL for their generous contribution, which will support our efforts to advance the understanding of cancer and the discovery of better treatments for cancer patients.
