The Marketing and Communication unit ensures that all key audiences are well informed about the institute’s research activities. 

ACTIVITIES

The Marketing and Communication unit of the Luxembourg Institute of Health ensures that all key audiences are well informed about the institute’s research activities. Topics include research results in the fields of cancer, immunological disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, also covering the field of preventive medicine.

Through our communication activities, we ultimately support the LIH translational and precision health vision by showcasing the benefits of patient involvement and participation in the institute’s clinical studies and fostering the dissemination of LIH’s concrete research results to all stakeholders – citizens, patients, healthcare professionals, researchers, clinicians and policymakers. 

We make science understandable for everyone, from lay audience to scientists, using various channels and communication supports, such as press releases, publications, videos, social media or events, among others. 

We also work in close cooperation with communication colleagues from all key national research players, healthcare providers and the FNR under the joint branding of the “Research Luxembourg” framework, thereby reinforcing our networking and communication efforts and streamlining our respective communication strategies with the national and Research Luxembourg branding statements. LIH’s multidisciplinary team of scientists and experts are always available to answer questions related to the institute’s priority research areas. Please contact us for interview requests with our scientists, members of the governance team or for any general information on research at the LIH.
