Let’s meet at the #doctoralux Networking Forum on 06^th June 2025 in Luxembourg

The #doctoralux networking forum brings together first-year doctoral researchers in Luxembourg for a day focused on building connections, exchanging ideas, and getting to know the wider research community.

Meet fellow PhD candidates and hear about the range of career paths that can follow a doctorate. The event is all about informal conversations, useful insights, and creating a supportive network early in your journey.

The programme promises a lively mix of activities, including an insightful presentation from the Doctoral Education in Science Communication (DESCOM) project and an interactive Science Challenge organised by the Luxembourg National Research Fund. One of the highlights will be the Career Path panel, where former PhD candidates share their own professional stories — from academia and research to roles in industry, government, and beyond.

The #doctoralux networking forum is part of and takes place as concluding event of the Induction Days for new doctoral candidates of the University of Luxembourg.
