The Biobank Technician is responsible for proper reception, processing, efficienttracking, optimal storage, logistics, handling and documentation of samples forprojects managed at IBBL. Under the supervision of the Head of Biorepository,he/she is also responsible for maintaining the related laboratory areas, theirtidiness and functionality in compliance with quality system requirements

The Physical Activity, Sport and Health (PASH) research group aims to improve knowledge on the beneficial effects ofphysical activity on individuals’ health with and without disease and of anyage, as well as on the mechanisms leading to the development of sports injury.

LIH is looking for a highly motivated candidate with strong expertise in bioinformatics, multi-omics data analysis and data integration. The focus will be to support current research demands of all LIH departments mostly in the field of immunology and immune-related diseases. The candidate should have a strong background in the analysis and interpretation of RNA/DNA next-generation sequencing or/and methylation data. Overall, the candidate should be able to demonstrate knowledge of algorithmic and statistical concepts in Biology and Biomedicine as well as scientifically validated data analysis software.

The Clinical Research Nurse  will  : Assist the investigator and the medical team at all stages of the studies in infectious diseases (hepatitis national plan); Organise the research protocol with drug users and participate in data collection and management; Ensure the coordination of the activities on the different partners’ sites (CHL, Abrigado, Jugend- an Drogenhëllef…); Coordinate patients’ clinical monitoring in collaboration with the CHL; Carry out nursing related activities as stated in the clinical research protocol; Provide specific expertise and know-how in the follow-up of active drug users; Ensure compliance with the legal, administrative and regulatory obligations; Assist the CIEC nurse team with studies in different therapeutic areas than infectious diseases (oncology, neurology, public health, etc.), if required.
