The Health Economics & Evidence Synthesis Research Unit aims at :
- Developing a research program on Health economics and personalized medicine
- Growing a research team and research expertise to support Luxembourg health sector developments by building strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders in Luxembourg and beyond
- Providing expert advice to the Luxembourg government on the assessment of new health technologies in the development and scaling-up of evidence-based policies and programs in collaboration with the Centre of Health Economics, University of York, UK (Prof Andrea Manca) and the University of Twente, the Nederlands (Prof Dr Maarten Ijzerman).
Dr Anna Chioti, Director of Operations of the Department of Population Health, also supervises the strategic development of the Health Economics & Evidence Synthesis Research Unit.
