Research Leader in Digital Epidemiology/E-health - LH0219

E-health/m-health technology allows for a new, personalized, predictive, preventive, and participatory approach to health management. New sensor technology and monitoring is increasingly being used in healthcare as it becomes more accessible and sophisticated. However, the way in which these technologies improve patient and population health outcomes is still largely debated, and limited research has been conducted on the subject. We aim to develop interdisciplinary research within and beyond the Department of Public Health (DoPH) to identify environmental, lifestyle, and behavioral factors of health, with a view to supporting the implementation and evaluation of new e-health technologies in the context of primary, secondary and tertiary prevention. To lead the development of this new research axis, we are looking for a researcher to define the strategy and lead the development of this thematic.
