The trainee in Graphic Design will join LIH’s Communication Unit, and assist the team by participating in various projects. Under the supervision of the Communication Manager and the Graphic Designer, he/she will be responsible for working on graphic design tasks in the following areas: branding, flat visual and mock-up creation.You are passionate about Graphic Design and would like to gain experience to help you to move forward in your career? Key Accountabilities
  • Provide flat visuals and mock-ups.
  • Prepare materials for print or website.
  • Interpret and transform concepts and ideas, sometimes developed by others, into descriptive visual materials in varying formats.
  • Set-up and update design templates.
  • Finalise templates for print production.
  • Take and interpret feedback to complete amends.
  • Follow up with suppliers when required.

KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
  • Portfolio.
  • Ability to interpret briefs accurately.
  • Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
  • Have the ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention to detail.
  • Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in both PC and Mac environments.
  • Language skills: French, English (good oral and written command).
  • Good sense of humour is a plus.
