The IT Project & Data Manager - BI Specialist, under the directionof the IT BIS Manager, will ensure data organization & storage and analysewhile always upholding agreed-upon security standards.  He/she will be responsible for overseeing thedevelopment and use of data systems, in order to deliver high quality solutionsthat span multiple technologies/platforms.

Key Accountabilities
  • Perform business processes analyses and requirement gathering
  • Devise, implement and maintain efficient and secured techniques/procedures for effective data management
  • Define rules and procedures for data sharing with third party (e.g. management, stakeholders)
  • Monitor and analyze information and data systems and assess their performance in order to enhance them (e.g. new technologies, upgrades etc.)
  • Manage ETL tools used to build the Data warehouse from various sources and maintain SQL - PL/SQL procedures
  • Perform multidimensional modeling: Star, Snow Flake etc. (OLAP cubes and MDX language)
  • Assess system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements
  • Process the project data: supervise the data input & control their quality between several inputs to avoid double entries, clean up and check for data errors by consulting the records and make the first comments after processing the data
  • Project management: Deliver on time & scope; track and document projects; manage reports; identify, mitigate and solve risks and issues, manage Vendors and partners.
  • Oversee, manage and train end-users on the daily use of data systems
  • Ensure digital databases and archives are protected against security breaches and data losses & continually develop data management strategies.
  • Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications
  • Perform data extractions, Reports / Dashboards and KPI
  • Ensure data archiving & backups 
KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master‘s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions
  • Ability to decipher and organize large amounts of data in a Datawarehouse
  • Analytical mindset with good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational and relational skills, precision, ability to manage an important workload and respect deadlines.
  • Methodical, autonomous and rigorous approach to work, showing dynamism, dedication and team-spirit
  • Ability to simultaneously approach project management problems, data-processing problems, relation with users, providers, drafting of documents and the functional aspects of the activity
  • Fluent in French and English
REquired
  • Strong experience and knowledge of concepts related to architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of data warehouses / databases, Data Quality and Business Intelligence
  • Experience working with Database / Datawarehouse such as Elastic Search and/or SSAS
  • Extensive experience in Data Warehousing using ETL tools (such as Talend, SSIS)
  • Experience working with Reporting Tools such as Kibana, Power BI, Jasper Report, SSRS.
  • Programming experience (e.g. JAVA, PL/SQL, MDX, DAX, NoSQL)

  • Knowledge of: oracle, SQL Server, Jira, confluence, GIT, Flyway, REST API, Python, Angular2, NoSQL, T-SQL, Scripting
