The IT Project & Application Support Specialist will maintain and support day-to-day business processes such as data exchange between applications, operation and maintenance of scripts and automated jobs, application administration, and provide customer service to end users with business applications.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide applications administration & their operational support (e.g. monitoring, reliability, software engineering, user rights management, supplier contact, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot, identify, monitor and resolve problems in an efficient and timely way
  • Work with cross-functional teams to solve customer’s issues and requests related to business applications
  • Maintain a follow up schedule for unresolved issues
  • Ensure data management & analysis (e.g. data integrity, data modelling, data exchange, reporting/dashboarding etc.)
  • Implement and/or develop methods and tools to enhance requests management (e.g. Software Development, Architecture, Security, Data Management, etc.)
  • Perform integration , functional, & non-regression tests in order to grasp knowledge on the application features to support;
  • Collaborate with other BIS members to ensure successful and timely completion of issues and projects.
  • Update documentation to cover implementation of application solutions, including technical specifications, site deployment and support requirements.
  • Execute tests scripts and perform full application integration testing in order to grasp knowledge on the application features to support.

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or another related field;
  • At least three years’ experience in a similar role, focused on customer service;
  • Good organizational and relational skills, plus the ability to work with precision, managing a heavy workload and completing work within specified deadlines.
  • Experience in delivering solutions in multi-team collaborations, including those involving Product Owners, Business Analysts and Software providers
  • Methodical, autonomous and rigorous approach to work, showing dynamism, dedication and team-spirit.
  • Excellent problem solving and strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Knowledge of trouble ticketing platforms and ideally their customisation (e.g. JIRA)
  • Good knowledge environment tools such as : Confluence, JetBrains, Gitlab Strong knowledge of the database structures (Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL)
  • Strong Programming experience (C#, .NET, Angular, SQL, PL/SQL, JAVA, REST)
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux System
  • knowledge of Sharepoint, APEX, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Docker, Django, Python, Javascript, Json, XML, Power BI, SSIS, SSAS, Datamining, Data analysis, ITIL, Scrum are considered as an asset
  • Fluent in French and English with proof of excellent written skills in both languages. Any other language in use in Luxembourg would be an asset.
  • In addition to working from Mondays to Fridays, be willing to occasionally work remotely on Saturdays
