Chercheurs à l’école: Catherine and Laura introduce school students to their research

Within the framework of “Chercheurs à l’école – Researchers back to school” organized by the FNR, Catherine and Laura took the chance to interact with and inspire the next generation of scientists in Luxembourg. Both thus presented their science and work to school students in their 3^rd year of secondary school at the Lycée classique de Diekirch and Lycée technique pour professions de Santé (LTPS). In their presentations, they gave an overview of cancer in general, its different types and which environmental and daily influences can cause the development of cancer. Besides this very scientific information, they also took the opportunity to introduce the pupils to the daily laboratory work, how a normal working day looks like and how they are working together with other researchers.
